Chris Cummings grew up on an acreage bordering the Santa Cruz Mountains in California.
She was surrounded by beautiful horses,  bountiful wildlife and exquiisite scenery. Compelled to offer an outward expression of her sentiments toward nature, Chris recorded her
adventures in drawings and paintings.

The Emotional connection she had as a child continued to grow, and with it, her talents
prospered through diligent study and dedication.
Cummings has been recognized as one of the nations foremost artists of rural historic
scenery.
